Dr. Brittany Millard-Hasting lives in Gig Harbor, Washington. She loves fresh air, art and learning. She enjoys spending time with people and eating delicious food.
Dr. Brittany Millard-Hasting attended the University of Oregon for her undergraduate degree in Anthropology. She subsequently attended Oregon Health and Science University for Medical School and trained in Radiology in the United States Air Force. Never one to follow the well travelled path, she diverged, and worked in Clinical Research, Deployment Health and the care of unique populations. After Completing her active duty service in 2018, She studied Addiction Medicine and served as Medical Director for several Medication Assisted Treatment Programs for opiate and alcohol dependence while completing the education and practical training to receive her certification as a Sexuality Counselor from the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists and went on to receive her Board certification in Sexual Medicine from the European Committee of Sexual Medicine in 2020. In 2021, She joined the University of Washington Masters of Public Health program in Occupational and Environmental Medicine receiving her degree in 2023. She completed the residency program at the University of Washington in 2024.
Dr. Millard-Hasting believes that the patient is the expert in their own body and her role is as a consultant and educator. Identifying areas of health and strength, isolating the barriers to optimal health and facilitating informed decisions about medical decisions are the core of her approach. This strategy takes more time and buy in than the average medical appointment. Dr. Millard-Hasting believes that every person should have a provider that they trust and fits with their style of learning.
